  1. I love your matchups with the coupons and sales. I haven’t looked at your other shopping trip yet but I’m wondering where you’re getting your fresh fruit/veggies. I can see myself getting the meats – actually meant to and hope to go tonight but not quite sure if I’ll make it – but as for the boxed mixes and chex mx snacks and pop tarts…I don’t think I would buy those things anyway. BUT = I do LOVE your site and am so sad that I missed you when you were at the Peters Library. My daughter had a thing at school that same night so I had to go to that instead. I hope you’ll come back to that area again soon!!

    • Thanks, Jen! I have three favorite spots for produce: Aldi, Sam’s, and the Strip (Market) district downtown Pittsburgh. Aldi’s produce is usually pretty good, and it’s hard to beat their prices. I like to buy bananas, lettuce, and several other produce items at Sam’s. My favorite, by far was the farmer’s market this summer. We eat a lot of produce in our house, so it’s always a challenge to find the best deal.
I’ll be sure to post if I come to the Peters Township again! Sorry I missed you! πŸ™‚
