#IbottaApp – Electronic Coupons for Walmart, Target, Grocery Stores & More!

Ibotta

I was just sharing about my latest frugal love, the Target Cartwheel App, and now I want to share about another frugal resource I’ve just started using since finally getting an iPhone: iBotta! Friends, you gotta check it out! I’m in love…

Here’s how it works:

1. Download the iBotta app (it’s free, of course, and it’s pink, which makes me love it even more). Go to offers and you’ll find seven categories: grocery, electronics, restaurant, movie theaters, babies and kids, home improvement, and pet.

2. Select your category (my fav is grocery), and you’ll see a list of stores. Click on your store and you’ll see all the coupons available for that store. As I look at the app right now there are $44.75 worth of coupons for Target, $25.50 for Sam’s Club, $32 for Publix, etc. There are usually 2-3 short tasks per coupon that will earn you the total value possible for each coupon. It’s quick- answer a survey question, watch a short video, post on Facebook, etc. Once you complete at least one task per product offer, the offer is added to your shopping list and you can earn money for purchasing the item at your selected store!

3. Purchase the items in store and then open your app, click on “redeem” at the home screen and then select your store. Snap a picture of your receipt.

4. The final step is to verify each of the items you purchased by scanning the bar code with your iPhone. Don’t worry- it’s self-explanatory and really very quick and simple! Wait a day or two and the cash will show up in your iBotta account!

5. When you’ve earned some cash and are ready to use it, you can have it transferred to your Paypal account or you can request a gift card to places like Starbucks, Red Box, iTunes, etc.

Here’s a full list of all the grocery stores currently on the app. More are being added all the time!

  • Target
  • Walmart
  • Sams Club
  • Winn Dixie
  • Publix
  • Kroger
  • Military Commissary
  • Ingles
  • CVS Pharmacy
  • Walgreens
  • Dollar General
  • Costco
  • Rite Aid
  • Family Dollar
  • Whole Foods

Oh, and get this…iBotta is now paying $5 per qualified referral, so after you sign up you can start referring your friends! Woot! Woot!

Enjoy. ๐Ÿ™‚
