GIVEAWAY + A Trip Down Memory Lane #NetflixKids #TBT

It’s time for a Throwback Thursday-Themed post and an awesome giveaway from Netflix!! I love seeing all my friends’ TBT posts on Facebook. Thank goodness I don’t have any digital copies of myself from the 80’s and 90’s. In the 90’s I was sporting the “BIG bangs” look. Yikes!! Did any of you do big bangs??

Today while my six year old was at school the younger two and I had a “throwback” morning as we streamed the classic Winnie the Pooh. I learned something new- it was produced in ’77, the year I was born! I forgot how many quotes I use from that precious classic on a regular basis:

“It’s windsday!”

“Excuse me please, bees!”

“I don’t mind the leaves that are leaving, it’s the leaves that are coming…”

My three year old has almost entirely missed Winnie the Pooh and Thomas the Tank Engine because his big brother is into the Wild Kratts and other popular shows. I loved watching him be swept away with stories of Winnie the Pooh! When the show was over he asked me to play Winnie the Pooh matching game, which we did while little brother took a nap. So fun!

memory game1This little guy reminds me of Christopher Robin. 🙂

Speaking of throwbacks, my husband and I had a Murder She Wrote binge a while back. Todd grew up watching the show with his great aunt and uncle every week, so it’s always a fun walk down memory lane for him to watch an episode. I think we made it through every season! I absolutely love Angela Lansbury… Did you know that you can stream Murder She Wrote on Netflix?

Now time for the fun part! Netflix has given me a FREE three-month subscription code to pass on to one of my readers! It’s easy to enter; just follow the directions in the Rafflecopter form at the end of this post. (Scroll all the way down.) Hurry and enter; the giveaway ends Monday, April 21st!

What are some of your favorites on Netflix right now? I’d love to hear from you!
