About

Welcome to Simply Frugal Living!  I’m Andria, wife to an amazing husband and mom to two adorable boys. I’m a typical mom working to stretch our hard-earned dollars to their full potential.

Three years ago I never would have guessed that our growing family would be spending $200 or less per month for groceries and household items.

Todd and I married in 2006, and he began graduate studies in 2008.  We were determined to make it through debt-free. As an avid Aldi shopper, I was skeptical about “couponing,” but decided to give it a try. The result has been a great blessing for our family – not only did we get through graduate school debt-free, but we lived extravagantly on our small budget. School is over for us, and we are now serving a church in Pittsburgh.  There’s no turning back; we are hooked on Simply Frugal Living!

At SimplyFrugalLiving.com you’ll find up-to-date coupon/sale match-ups and tips on finding great deals and freebies for grocery, household, and drugstore items. I find natural/organic and gluten-free sales, pass on great national and local deals, and offer loads of ideas for resourceful and thrifty living.  Look for help with decorating, cooking, home schooling, getting through college debt-free, hospitality, and much more.

I offer an extensive two-hour Extreme Couponing Class and am available for bookings. Contact me at andria (at) simply frugal living (dot) com.

SimplyFrugalLiving.com would not be possible without the loving support of my husband, Todd, and the following key contributors and consultants:

Thank you so much, Andria, for coming to Parkersburg, WV! I enjoyed your class tremendously! I have been couponing for about a year now and knew the basics of couponing, but did not know about other resources of couponing. Your class was very helpful. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us! God bless.

  6. I try to watch you Mondays on PTL.. but that is what time I have to leave for work, I am trying to follow you though, I don’t understand Ebates? I clicked on it today and as expected it wants me to register..what exactly are the benefits to this site and to registering on it? I shop alot at the stores you mention and I use alot of gift cards to pay for my purchases from Giant Eagle/Getgo to earn the gas points, so was wondering if Ebates works with or around that form of payment, just don’t need any more email junk if it is not beneficial for me.Hoping you can help me understand. Thanks
    Karen

    • Hi Karen! Great question. Ebates requests your email address so they can send you updates on all their latest offers. As I teach in my couponing class, I set up a “junk” email account when I really got into couponing so I can use that address when registering on all these sites, and it doesn’t affect my personal inbox at all. Something you might consider. As for Ebates, it is a wonderful site that simply allows you to earn cash back on almost all of your online purchases. Simply go to Ebates and search for your online retailer. It will pop up with the amount of cash back that they are currently offering. Click on the retailer and you’ll be taken to their site to shop as you normally would. Only Ebates will be tracking the total that you spend and they will deposit the promised cash back amount in your Ebates account. You’ll then receive a check from them (I think it’s every quarter) with your balance. It’s a wonderful resource for saving additional money when shopping online!
