Notes from the show:

Good Cents Grocery store (a Giant Eagle-owned grocery discount store) opened on McKnight Road on November 4th. Good Cents offers prices that rival Aldi and Bottom Dollar, but they are truly a one-stop-shop with a large produce section, an impressive fresh meat section, a deli, a cheese deli, and aisles packed with almost everything you would find at a traditional grocery store.

A few things to note:

  • MRF coupons are accepted. Coupons are not doubled.
  • Find coupons for two free items in the Good Cents ad paper each week.
  • Check your mailbox for $10 off $20 Good Cents grocery store coupons. Some areas already received them; others will receive them in the next week or two.
  • Get a Centsible Shopper Card! Use it to redeem valuable Good Cents coupons. Plus, every time you scan your Centsible Shopper Card, you enter to win a $50 Good Cents gift card! One winner chosen at random per week.
  • Good Cents does not participate in the Giant Eagle fuel perks program.
  • Find both name brands and store brands throughout the store.
  • Sale ad runs Thursday-Wednesday each week.
  • Each week’s ad paper will feature a selection of sale items, but the low prices you find throughout the store are their everyday low prices (for example, bananas for 28¢/lb!).
  • Bring your own bags and be prepared to bag your items yourself. You can purchase plastic bags for 5¢ ea or reusable shopping bags for just 75¢ ea!
