My Rite Aid Shopping Trips Today

I planned to do a small Rite Aid shopping trip today, but when I got to my favorite Rite Aid store, I found out it was closing! I’m so disappointed. 🙁 Well, one bright spot was that everything in the store was 75% off when I went in today.

The merchandise pictured above was valued at $45.91, but thanks to the 75% discount, I paid just $12.09 total.

As we were driving home for the MOPS hayride tonight we passed another Rite Aid, and I was able to run in and snag the items I had originally intended to buy this afternoon. This may seem like a random selection of items, but they were all things we needed. So, here’s the two-transaction scenario:

Neutrogena Facial Cleaner, $6.99 regular price

Revita Lens Cleaner, $4.99 regular price

Buy 2 Gillette Body Wash, $4/$8 sale price ($2 UPR wyb 2)

Use: Revitatlens Ocutec Solution (IE) $2/1 7/14/2011 Bricks Rolling  Printable (FF)

Plus I used my $10 UPR from Monday’s Rite Aid deal from the Pittsburgh Today Live Show.

Total value: $22.24

Total OOP: $3.26

After Transaction: $2 UPR

Transaction #2

Bounce Dryer Sheets, $3.99 sale price

Yesterday’s Shopping Trips

I did something I haven’t done in a while last night: I made a quick trip to three grocery stores! Thankfully they were all pretty much in the same area so it wasn’t too difficult. Everything you see pictured was purchased strategically for menu items and pantry re-stocking.

Here’s the breakdown:

Worth: $105.34

Spent: $54.81

(Kuhn’s: $13.98; Giant Eeagle: $33.84; Shop ‘n Save: $6.99)
