It’s Mega Swagbucks Friday: Two More Simple Ways to Earn $$

Today is Mega Swagbucks Friday!

Wondering what that means? Keep reading...

My friend, Cheryl, who blogs over at Simply CVS wrote a simple description of the Swagbucks program which I posted a couple weeks ago.

Last week Cheryl gave us Three Easy Ways to Earn Money with Swagbucks, and today she is going to share two more simple ways to earn Swagbucks!

Note: I’ve been following Cheryl’s tips and I’ve seen my Swagbucks total triple! Woot!

Two MORE Simple Ways to Earn Swagbucks

  1. Click thru the NOSO (No Obligation Special Offers) (2 SB a day).
    1. In the Earn tab at the top of the page or in the link list in the left side click on NOSO and click “start earning now.  Go thru the pages offered clicking “skip” at the bottom of each page (unless you find an offer you want to participate in).
    2. At the end it will say you have won two and ask you to fill in a captcha code.
    3. There are about five pages and this will take you about 10 seconds to complete.
    4. You can do it once a day.
  1. Watch Swagbucks TV (I did this some to see what it was like to let you know but haven’t gotten too into it yet).
    1. Find the link just like the others, in the left hand link list or in the Earn tab at the top.
    2. There are several categories to choose from with dozens of videos in each:  Entertainment, News, Fashion & Beauty, Pets & Nature, Technology, Food, Home & Garden and Health & Safety.
    3. Each takes from 2 to 5 minutes to watch.
    4. For each you watch you will earn 10% towards 3 SBs earned.  There will be a counter at the top right that adds 10% each time you watch one–it will keep track from one day to the next.
    5. So for every 10 you watch you earn 3 SBs.  From what I understand you can watch a total of 250 per day for a total of 75 points.  At approximately 3 minutes each this is a powerful lot of hours of Swagbucks TV to watch!
      • I have read this hint that many Swaggers use:  open two windows with Swagbucks TV in one and whatever else you are working on in the other and multi-task by watching the videos while you work on the computer.  You can restore down the windows so you can have them side by side on your screen at the same time.
    6. I have heard the Pet categories are the shortest.

If you have never signed up with Swagbucks, now is a great time to do so!

It’s Mega Swagbucks Friday: Three Easy Ways to Earn $$

Today is Mega Swagbucks Friday!

My friend, Cheryl, who blogs over at Simply CVS wrote a simple description of the Swagbucks program which I posted last week. Since CVS is her specialty, she concentrates on the CVS gift cards you can earn through Swagbucks, but keep in mind that you can earn gift cards to just about anywhere through Swagbucks!

Cheryl has written a series outlining ways to earn with Swagbucks, and she’s agreed to share it with us here at Simply Frugal Living. Each Friday I’ll present the next post of the series. Today’s post is 3 Easy Ways to Earn.

I am so excited that Swagbucks now offers CVS Gift Cards!  I am inspired to investigate more ways to earn more bucks beyond just using their search engine.  I decided as I explore and find ways to earn  I will share them with you each week in a new series called “Saturday’s Swagbucks Tutorial.”  I’m all about saving time and doing things simply so first I will check into all of the simple ways to earn–the least amount of time spent and quickest rewards.  If you are totally new to the Swagbucks concept you can sign up and start earning today.
Three Simple Ways to Earn Swagbucks

    1. Search the Web
      1. Use the Swagbucks‘ search engine throughout the day and earn random Swagbucks
        1. these are awarded randomly
          1. I usually get one in the morning after three or four searches, then often in the late afternoon
          2. Many people get wins three times a day and I have read of some getting four
        2. anywhere from 7 to 11 Swagbucks won is normal
        3. Every Friday is MegaBucks day where you can earn 20, 30, 40 and even more for searching
        4. Hints I have read in searching:
          1. Use the search engine whenever you want to go to any site, even if it is to check your regular email
          2. Brandi posted on the Simply CVS Facebook page that she often doesn’t win  from normal searches, but from searching “weird phrases”
          3. When searching a place of business add the specific item you are looking for
            1. Example:  Amazon norelco men’s razors
          4. See what phrases are winning on the Swag Bucks Facebook page
            1. People will share what they won with
            2. Others who try that search often win, too, but not always
          5. Be sure and use the image searches, too
          6. Once you win a Swagbuck use a different search engine for a while before returning to using Swagbucks later in the day
            1. If you over search your account can be deactivated
      2. Install the Swagbucks Toolbar (link found at bottom of their home page)
        1. Each day that you open your browser you will automatically earn a point
        2. There are often “Swagcodes” given in the toolbar–enter this code on the Swagbucks homepage and earn more Swagbucks
        3. And you can search right from the toolbar instead of hitting the Swagbucks homepage.
      3. Take the Daily Poll
      1. There is a new daily poll each day which is one easy question with four answers to choose from — submit your answer and earn 1 Swagbuck
      2. Link found in the left hand column about the third one down

So if you have never signed up with Swagbucks now is a great time!  You can earn CVS gift cards to make your CVSing or other shopping even sweeter.

The Swagbucks Program Explained

Today is Mega Swagbucks Friday!

If you are wondering what this means, keep reading: it’s worth it!

My friend, Cheryl, who blogs over at Simply CVS wrote a simple description of the Swagbucks program and has agreed to share it with us today! Since CVS is her specialty, she concentrates on the CVS gift cards you can earn through Swagbucks, but keep in mind that you can earn gift cards to just about anywhere through Swagbucks!

I have enjoyed earning Amazon gift cards and more recently CVS gift cards by simply searching the web at Swagbucks.  About a year ago my daughter stumbled upon a site that allows you to “win” points while searching the web and doing other online activities and trade them in for gift cards and prizes.  Many of you, I am sure, are already acquainted with Swagbucks, but for those of you who are not I’d like to share a little about it in case it is something you would like to do.  I have consistently earned one to three $5 Amazon gift cards each month with little time invested and recently have been able to easily earn a $10 CVS Gift Card each month.  They offer all kinds of items in the Swag Store from sports collectibles to movies to posters to gift cards and much more.

Swagbucks are “won” every now again throughout the day as you use their search engine for your regular searching.  It does not increase your chances by searching excessively and actually your account can be frozen if you search in excess to try and win.  I use it for any of my regular searches and sometimes first thing in the morning when I get online I will search for whatever website I want to visit.  It is my understanding that a normal day will usually net a member three wins–anywhere from 5 to 50 Swagbucks each.

Every Friday is Mega Swagbucks day where you can earn even bigger amounts.  It takes 450 Swagbucks for a $5 Amazon card and 1249 for a $10 CVS gift card.  But there are other ways to win, too.

  • Daily Polls — one simple question with 4 to 6 multiple choice answers (win 1)
  • Surveys — win 1 just for clicking on it and then take surveys for more
  • Tool Bar — win daily just for having the tool bar on whenever you bring up the browser it is in (once a day)
  • Special Offers — two ways:  scroll thru daily special offers for a few Swagbucks or participate in others and win
  • Referrals — you earn as your referrals earn from searching (up to the first 1000 points), this is how some people have gotten a LOT of free stuff
  • Shop Online — they offer several national online stores that if you place your order after going thru the Swagbucks webpage you will earn
  • Trade Ins — they take trade ins of old cellphones, MP3s, video games and consoles
  • Swag codes — special codes they put out for an hour or two that when entered gives you Swagbucks
So, what are you waiting for? If you haven’t yet begun earning by using the Swaqbucks search engine, give it a try! It’s an easy way to earn without much effort.
