In order to get the most “bang” for your Disney dollar, you must first be flexible with your travel dates. By staying on Disney property you will save in any number of ways. The Walt Disney World Resort offers rooms ranging from a nightly rate of $102 all the way up to $1900. There is always an affordable option. Only Disney Resort guests have the ability to utilize the Magical Express luxury bus service to and from the airport eliminating the need to rent a car. Once on Disney Property you have the ability to use any number of Disney’s fantastic transportation options, boat, Monorail, or bus to move about the resort and from park to park. Staying on Disney property also allows you to utilize one of their dining plans because they are linked to the number of nights you stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
Several times throughout the year Walt Disney Travel Company offers their dining plans for free; typically, these specials occur in the month of September, as well as select dates towards the end of the year and early the following year. These offers are often during times of lower hotel and park occupancy, so your time waiting for attractions can be reduced dramatically. By building a relationship and staying in contact with your Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, you will be kept up to date about all of these special times a year.
