There are usually multiple ways to save at any store; you just need to know what savings or rewards programs your store offers. This is a brief overview of the savings opportunities available at Target.
Scoring Great Deals at Target
Did you know that Target allows coupon stacking? This means that they will accept both a MFR and a Target Q. for each item you purchase. Target does not allow coupon doubling, but I have still been able to score some great deals with the coupon stacking.
Target’s printable coupons can be found here. Always look at the coupons carefully; some Target printables are Target store Q’s, and some are MFR Q’s. If you’re going to stack Q’s, make sure that you definitely have a MFR and a Target store Q for each item.
Target Gift Card Promotions
Target runs consistent sales promotions in which they offer FREE Target gift cards in exchange for purchasing a certain number of a specified item. For example:
FREE $5 Target Gift Card wyb any 10 SoBe Liftewaters.
FREE $5 Target Gift Card with the purchase of 2 select Gillette Razors or Cartridges (Gillette Fusion & Venus Breeze pictured)
FREE $10 Target Gift Card wyb 2 Luvs Diaper Family Packs
The way to work these deals is to do at least two separate transactions. If you are purchasing gift card promotion items, buy them first (and hopefully use several Q’s for these items!). All of your non-gift card promotion items will be in your second transaction. Use your Q’s and the gift cards you just received for some awesome savings!
Target Clearance Section
Target clearance prices + one or two coupons per item = SUPER cheap or even FREE! Take your coupon binder to Target’s clearance center in the back of the store to see what deals you can find. Aalso check the end cap clearance areas–especially in the grocery aisles.
